It is going to S N O W
Dec 8 Tomorrow night Snow in the evening will become heavy at times overnight. Low 27F with temps rising to near freezing. Winds SSE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 90%. Snow accumulating 6 to 10 inches. Man do i wish i had my massive three person intertube... Update[9:51pm]: So of course after i posed this the numbers for accumulation dropped to 3 to 5 inches. I guess that's what we get for trying to predict the weather... Update[12:38am]: We went and got the massive three person snow tube from my house. It looks something like this. Update[11:45am]: They changed the weather again, now it's up to 4 to 7 inches[Boo-yeah grandma, Boo-yeah]. Getting the snow tube is now completely justified. |

Firefly and Serenity
Scott has already posted about the times on friday, i think we're agreed that if we can we'll goto the 9:40 showing at south side works. Now i know there are some people(myself included) who would like to watch the rest of the series before they see the movie. So we are thinking that we could watch the last 3 episodes at 6pm (friday). At 50 minutes an episode it'll take us 2.5 hours which brings us to 8:30. We then have an hour and 10 minutes to get to the south side and get the tickets(hoping that it won't be sold out). For dinner you can either bring food and eat during firefly, or we could get some pizza(antoone's of course) and eat while watching. I think this is the best plan we can make without pushing seeing the movie to saturday afternoon. So what do you think? |
